Conditions, Rules and Information (Current from 1st July 2005)

The Marion Market has all the ingredients to become SA's most successful Market.

MARKET TIMES & SITE FEES
The Market will be open to sellers to set up from 6.30am & sellers are expected to be on site by 7.45am.
Buyers are invited from 8am & the market will close at 12 noon. Site fees are $15 per car and $20 per car & trailer/large van.

SITE POSITION
Sites will be allocated on a first come first in basis.
Cars & trailers can park as part of the site but will be unable to leave the site area until 1pm.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DRIVE CAREFULLY & SLOWLY ON THE OVAL TO AVOID DAMAGING THE SURFACE.

To maintain the integrity of the market & have respect for other sellers you are requested not to pack up until 12 noon.
Please leave your site area clean & do not leave any rubbish behind. There are a few bins around the site but once they are filled your rubbish is your responsibility.

Toilet facilities are available in the licensed club after 8am. Before 9am toilets on the outside ground floor of the building may be used.
These will be indicated.

The licensed club will be open from 8am offering tea, coffee, light refreshments & cool drinks.
After 10am the bar & gaming facilities will be opened.

WET WEATHER POLICY
We are aware of the time & effort you put into the preparation of your market stall & consequently Colin and his staff will always be on hand to open the Market. On wet days or when the oval is too wet we will hold the Market around the clubhouse & on the hard standing of the car park. We do have an under cover area for a limited number of stalls on a first come first in basis.

INSURANCE, LIABILITY COVER & LICENCING
Each stallholder is responsible for their own insurance, public liability & licencing.
Stall holders supplying food or consumable products must comply with the Australian Health & Safety Regulations.





The Marion Market has been created to produce a friendly & exciting Sunday activity where sellers can confidently display their goods & chattels knowing that they have great exposure to buyers who in turn can visit a market that has a broad & varied range of high quality products.
