Rules of the Market
1. MARKET MANAGER AND VOLUNTEERS
Club Marion will be represented on site by a designated Market Manager. The Market Manager will do his best to run the market efficiently to create a safe and pleasant environment for Visitors to the Market and Sellers. There will also be Market Volunteers who help to run the Market for Club Marion under the supervision of the Market Manager.
2. KEEPING THE MARKET SAFE AND PLEASANT
Everyone on site must comply with the reasonable directions of the Market Manager or a Market Volunteer regarding any health or safety issues. Any person who fails to follow the directions of the Market Manager or who, in the Market Manager’s opinion, is behaving offensively may be excluded from the premises by the Market Manager.
Serious concerns about any aspect of the Market operations must be reported in the first instance to the Market Manager. The Market Manager will note such concerns in writing and may, in his absolute discretion, give directions to resolve the concerns. If concerns then remain, they may be taken to the General Manager of Club Marion the next business day.

4.3. All sellers are expected to be on site by 8:00am.
4.4. For safety reasons, driving of vehicles in the Market area is prohibited between 8am-12 noon.
4.5. Cars and trailers can park as part of the site but will be unable to leave the site area until 12 noon.

5. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT FOR SELLING FOOD OR DRINKS

5.2. Sellers of food or drinks of any kind must also have prior approval from Club Marion – you must show your evidence of Council notification to Club Marion staff so that it can be passed on to the General Manager for approval.
5.3. No hot foods are to be sold (unless you were selling such food at the Market prior to 1st May 2012).

On wet days or when the oval is too wet, the Market may be held around the Club Marion building and on the hard area of the car park. Undercover area is available for a limited number of stalls on a first come first in basis.
